Equipment

  • Small glass mixing bowl
  • cutting board
  • Chef knife

Ingredients

  • 4 Tomato Romano, ripe, diced and seeds removed
  • 1 cup Tomato canned, BPA-Free, diced, ( I like fire roasted)
  • 1/2 Red onion diced
  • 1/2 Black pepper yellow or green, diced
  • 1/4 Cucumber diced
  • 1/2 Celery diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves (or more if you love garlic) minced
  • 1 Lime freshly squeezed, pulp included for extra zip
  • 1/2 tsp Hot sauce or chili pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin cold pressed
  • 1 tsp Raw apple cider vinegar with the mother
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt or to taste
  • 1/3 cup Fresh cilantro or parsley/basil, chopped

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and season to taste.
  • Or you could chop ingredients roughly and toss everything into a food processer and just pulse a few times. Do not puree!
  • Garish with fresh cilantro or parsley.
  • Chill before serving is best. Tastes even better the next day!

Notes

Rushed for time?
Purchase a good ready-to-eat salsa (preferably organic), and add fresh diced tomatoes, extra lime, fresh diced red onion, minced garlic and garnish.
Other spices you can add:
Cumin and Chili pepper powder goes will with this.
